Our Belief

Every frame is a choice.
Make yours deliberate.

Photography is not equipment — it is intention. At Shrixxenkhepin we build the discipline of seeing: how light changes meaning, how proximity shifts emotion, how sequence builds narrative. Whether you hold a mirrorless body or a phone, the fundamentals remain the same.

How a Workshop Unfolds

01

Meet at the Location

Sessions start at our studio in San Francisco's Financial District. We provide a brief gear check, share the day's brief, and head into the city together.

02

Shoot in the Field

Real assignments, real conditions. Instructors walk alongside participants, giving live feedback on framing, exposure, and storytelling intent as you work.

03

Edit & Review

Back in the studio, we edit together. Each participant selects their strongest five frames, refines them, and presents their sequence to the group for critique.

The workshop didn't teach me camera settings. It taught me how to see — and that's the skill that changes everything about the photographs you make.

Teaching the Art of Looking

Shrixxenkhepin was founded on one idea: the world's best photographs come from understanding, not equipment. Based at 669 Commercial St in San Francisco's Financial District, our studio sits at the intersection of the city's most photogenic neighbourhoods.

Our instructors come from editorial and commercial backgrounds — people who have shot for publication and know the difference between a technically correct image and a story worth telling.
